Whether chain or belt, i think nobody will also bother to change. Since many people will change car before it is due for changing. But now COE so high, maybe many people would need to find out whether need to change or not?!

Think will have more incidents of belts/chains bursting reports from now on knowing that most people are very kiam when coming to these wear and tear items. Most preferred to zheng their rims and body works [:p]

I am driving an Altis, it uses a timing chain.

Was told it can do 300,000km before changing.

Don't think will hit 300,000 km in 10 years.

Like many sasid previously, probably change or dont drive already liao.
