Seaweed 1st Gear July 13, 2011 Share July 13, 2011 (edited) so if husband and wife both degree holder of age above 30...possibility of them not able to buy a HDB direct from ah kong is more than 50% lor...since medium at 29 is 3500...I think it is quite logical that at least 40% of degree holding couples at age 30 and above do not qualify for new HDB...no wonder life so bad !!! ha ha ha.... [laugh] then at age 39...their combined income is only 10960 !!! how they can afford $1 million condo ??? Throttle2 Supersonic July 14, 2011 Share July 14, 2011 It would be intersting if MOM had a report on the freak results as well. I know of a ITE grad who started his own biz. Salary is more than $15k For folks like RadX and Throttle, I think their salary got so many 0000s that one piece of paper cannot accomodate the actual figure. It doesnt matter how many zeros. what matters is the location of the decimal point amongst those zeros.....
Throttle2 Supersonic July 14, 2011 Share July 14, 2011 i tink for table wiper, if he wipe clockwise $350 per wipe. if wipe counter-clockwise, more difficult, so charge $450 per wipe. suntec foodcourt tables always so dirty, no wonder he everything can pay cash. For properties i dont pay full cash lah only 70%

Gearoil 1st Gear July 15, 2011 Share July 15, 2011 It doesnt matter how many zeros. what matters is the location of the decimal point amongst those zeros..... that is where your replies to posts ALWAYS come up short... it should be .. what matters is ...where one find themselves after the game is over ( that is when they have retired).. and find that whether ... whatever amount that they have earned in their life...... still remains with them or have grown more over the years..or not And that is the time to really enjoy life or..the other way would be ... to SUFFER! ============================================================ When ppl talk about what they earned in life or is still earning..or aspire to earn.. I always looked at these ppl.. Their real life story of achievement... ain't over yet!

I target to retired in 17 years time. thats when my younger daughter turns 18 I'm not the super ambitious kind, just comforatble can already. Target to have 3 paid up private properties $6mil, stocks and bonds about $3mil, Cash $1mil. Total $10mil good enough for me. Dont need $50mil like Viceroy, Radx...etc... So I must pray hard that bank notes fall from the sky into my car porch every night while i'm sleeping

Gearoil 1st Gear July 15, 2011 Share July 15, 2011 Alot of ppl thinks MONEY is everything towards their end of their journey when they get to enjoy the so called fruits of their labor.. But nothing is further away from the truth.. You see the thing about ppl with money or lots of it... They tend to have 'a defect in their personality'.. They seem to be very capable in their earning years... but once they reach a stage where they have accumulated that much money... trouble starts to knock at their door... Marriage starts to sour...if it hasn't already been so...children start to turn against them, friends are not what they seem to be, bad luck seem to strike them here and there and health naturally in most instance...takes a beating..and many many more horrible truths..way to come.. I don't want to sound as though I am preaching here... Hell no...ppl here would probably need to cough up much $$$ if they want to hear more... but the impression I get ...long long ago from this and many forums...is that Many ppl ( espeically those who are not so near their end of their life cycle) thinks that... things will always turn out O.K if they get to have as much money as they can..... while they can... Nothing is further away from the truth.

Gearoil 1st Gear July 15, 2011 Share July 15, 2011 Uncle gearoil, poor people also have these types of problems. You didn't read my reply c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y.. Ppl who have the money tend to have a 'distinct defect' in their personality..and it spread along the lines ( although not always so) of their breed...and it seems to harbour among thier kaki kaki too... I'll let you decide what that 'distinct defect' is....
