Unlike the USA, the criminal get a nice room with matress, 3 meals a day, TV privileges, even conjugal visition rights etc all from tax payers money. Some serial killers even get life imprisonment and free food rest of their lives, or even those in death row get really long time before they are actually put to death due to clever lawyers who are paid by the tax payer.
