new owner of a used 08" IS250 that comes with white/near white interior leather.

drove the car for a couple of weeks, and can't help but notice some minor darker spots/patches/lines here and there on the leather.

does anyone have any experience to share on how to maintain these white leather?

thanks a bunch.

get those 'magic sponge' and clean...very goot

any specific products or professional leather cleaning folks to recommend? I've got a white seat trimming that's been stained by a black colour clothing dye (cheap stuff bought from HK)

normally leather cleaner will do the trick.

buy those pure leather cleaner...not those 2-in-1 with conditioner..those doesnt remove hard stains.

I have biege seats too.

When new, look good.

Now there are some dark "crack" lines, esp on dirver side).

If send to professional, can help a bit but will come back.

How?

Or it si better to change cover or do a upholstery?

its part n parcel of owning a car w beige interior. if u cover it with upholestry, den whats the point...might as well go for black interior.

just do regular cleaning of the leather w leather cleaner will do.

I would trust meguiar and 3m only. we have a beige interior e200, only use wet cloth on leather and 3m foam to remove tough stain on cabin fabric.

What's a 3M Foam? can get from Autobac?
