Hi all,

 

I found out that one of my employee getting commission from a supplier without my knowledge...

Can that be term as corruption?

Can I report him to CPIB or make a police report?

 

I do have all the evidence in hand.

 

Need experts view and advise/advice on these serious matter.

yes of coz if ur coy no such policies.

 

if i were u, i wld do the following,

 

1. check all purchase history btw him & coy

2. were goods & services really received & who receive

3. prices reasonable as compared with other coy

4. interview him ask y, etc. hear him out.

 

cld be more than juz simple commision, maybe others oso get a cut.

according to CPIB, even if it's a cup of coffee offer by the supplier to yr employee, it will still be consider as bribery. So what do u think in the above case? Both yr supplier n employee r in troubles. Possible both wil be charged.

Sometimes, its call appreciating customer... U decide...

 

If a cup of coffee also called corruption... Then i think people will stop sending mooncakes to customer liao...

Its very easy to sabo people like these... Especially sales.... When they get commision from the product they sell, they tend to treat the people involbing the project...

He is getting more than $50k commissions for the past 3mths...

He kept insisting on this supplier. Others are giving better pricings on parts.

 

I will be making a police report later today.

U are the boss, u decide.

Mine was the manager was taking bribes in cash fm company's client. Too bad his office political rival sold him out.

Coy policy states any gifts or money given will be property of the coy...

 

He's a Malaysian PR.... Y r Malaysians like to take bribes?? Sigh

Discuss with your boss and HR first.

 

For some companies, minimising media coverage on such issues is a priority to them, and what they'll do is to ask the employee politely to return all money, and resign on his accord.

$50K for the past 3 months is alot of money. :blink:

 

No wonder he keep insisting on using this supplier. [:)]
