anyway think if everyone like me... the casino can close shop...

but there's still few of people like me... i see them everyday at casino... no many... 90% people lose until no money to go home... sad....

Hi Jeff,

so are you still winning $500 everyday?

I believe there are people who can do that.

I'm one of them.

The way each game is set already tell you the whole story. Otherwise the billions of $ invested in casino, who is so stupid to do that for you to collect money :yeah-im-not-drunk: To beat the game, you need to cheat and of course they have people to catch the cheaters.

Those odd winners are part of the game, otherwise if 100% losers, who go to the casino. So sad people still cannot understand so simple theory. Bring enough to lose but play to win. Lose wipe your backside and go home while begin entertained. :a-bang:

Card counting is not cheating. They can only ban you from the casino.

Cannot call police and jail you.

Turbocharged

of course you can count the odds but the game is structured for banker to win. dont forget they can close the table if luck is not on their side. as long as you dont have that expectation, you are ok to enjoy the game.

That's fast!

On a side note. If you keep winning big weekly or daily. You will be ban from playing.

Anyone knows Dana white? The UFC mogul. He was banned from from Palms.

If you bought the 2000 levy is worth it to cap at 500  [thumbsup]

By paying 100 levy, parking , petrol, etc then 500 not really worth lor  [rolleyes]

I ever ask those aunties playing there...they said levy 5.50 per day

So everyday can make 100...they happy liao

Actually if you can control and not greedy...I believe there are Gao Ching aka God of gambling around [drivingcar]

Guys, card counting is trivial for the casinos to deter.

Most blackjack games feature multiple decks (3-6), and the dealer can at any time choose to reshuffle the decks. Obviously you NEVER see a dealer deal blackjack down to the last card in the deck, as the players would have 100% certainty of the last card.

Quite a lot of dealers on the blackjack tables count the cards. It's easy, they stare at cards all day long, and they have nothing else to do. So they simply choose to reshuffle the decks whenever the count is sufficiently low.

to TS:

how can gambling be considered a profession.

In the same way as you can make money on trusted casinos. For example, the platform https://forestcasinos.co.nz/casino-classic/ gives a guarantee of payout, as well as the most interesting mini-games.

unless u are toking about WSOP type of games.

then if u say that,

then gaming also can be a profession liao

I am a fairly experienced casino player and I can say that if you play with your head, you can win. The most important thing is not to flirt, because it often ends sadly.

There are three ways to make a living at gambling....take them for what you will and your chances of succeeding..

1. Card Counting - blackjack and baccarat. Can be ddone, Casino has strategies to combat you and if they notice they WILL stop you (and it's quite easy to notice you)

2. Outright Cheating(eg, something that influences the game, laser pointer to predice where ball lands in roulette etc) - is illegal. enough said

3. Play against another player, not the house. In other words - POKER. YES you can make a living at this, and people do playing tournaments or just "pick-up" games in the casino. POKER IS NOT OFFERED IN SINGAPORE. You must also remember a few things about poker. Not only do you have to win, but you have to win by more than 5% (the house cut on each winning hand). eg....say you play for 1 hour. In that one hour you win 5 hands of $100 each. You give the casino $25 so you net $475. At the same time you lose 15 hands of $30 each so you are only up $25.

It is very hard work - it CAN be done though, and I have heard of people making a living like this. You just have to hope that you skilll level is big enough to win consistently enough to be above the house commission. And remember - typically on any given hand your odds of having the "best" hand are 1 in 7, so before skill comes into it you are winning one hand for every 6 you lose.

If you want to find the best licensed casinos, you should check out Malta Gaming Authority. You can also learn more about the gambling industry here.

Hello. hard to disagree with you. Out of all of the above, I love playing poker because I don't do it for money, but for fun.
