Just collected the car last week, so far so good. Averaged 10.8 km/l for my first tank of petrol.

Congrats pal. This is what I just achieved on my 27 weeks old Sharan. [:)]

What is the average speed of this trip data? The figure gives half the info only.

OK, I knew everyone would be curious what were the other half of the story, aka details of the trip I have made, to come up with such out of the world FC figure. Here you go. [cool]

Distance in city driving (start stop traffic) => 6± Km (stopped at total of 10 traffic light / slip road to be precise)

Distance on highway (with relatively smooth traffic) => 57± Km (i.e. 90% highway driving)

Average speed on highway => 80 - 90 Km/h (up to 100 Km/h then on coasting function)

Average speed for entire trip => 57 Km/h (as I have seen on the meter)

Load => 2 adults + ~30± Kg of barang barang in the boot

Aircon => 50% on (I like to open the sun roof to enjoy the cool air in the morning)

Rim / Tyre => Stock 17" rim with 225/50R17 Continental CPC2 tyre

Tyre pressure => 290 Kpa (just pumped few days ago)

Engine mod => No (100% stock condition)

Fuel used => RON97

Engine start/stop function => Enabled

Coasting function => Enabled

Congrats! bro on taking delivery of your car. How's the drive so far?

By the way, any one faced some sort of rattling issue at the driver's side door?

Did you install the wind deflector? I did and it does rattle.

Oh, I didn't install any wind deflectors..I think it may be the door flexing that's causing the noise, if it makes sense..

Don't recall any rattling prior to installing the wind deflectors

Thanks!

It's been great! No complaints so far. Performed beautifully on the NSHW.

I didn't install the wind deflector. I did have some rattling from the A/C on the highway till I changed it to non-recirculate mode. It went away and surprisingly never came back despite recirculate mode later on.

Neutral Newbie

Bro, im driving a 5yr old Sharan and never regret it till today. Firstly, torque and bhp can overrun any other mpv anytime. Road tax is cheaper than those mpvs of 2.5L. OMV is also compatible with other mpvs. Last weekend stuff in 7 adults and 2 10yrs old kids and still the Sharan able to pull and take off from stand still traffic with ease.. I've also tested all other mpvs before deciding to go with Sharan.. No regrets..
