Hi all.

Any recommendations for tyres for a 2018 Mini One, 16" for a softer ride?

Skip all Run-flat.

Michelin Primacy should be able to fit.

Am considering a 2015 MINI Cooper S 2.0A 5DR.

are they problematic or generally reliable?

Is the ride very harsh and bumpy?

Whether the ride is very harsh and bumpy or not, it is better you test drive with your family.

Do rem that this is a very low car (ground clearance: 146mm) vs Toyota Corolla (ground clearance: 175mm).

Since it is a 5 year old car, get it check prior to purchase.

If coolant piping leak, it is a huge work.

thanks for sharing. Any issues with huge/high humps and all given the low ground clearance?

looking at rides with low mileage (<60k)

As disclaimer, i am driving Mini R56.

I have never any hugh/high humps yet.  I usually don't do completely stop before humps.

Even Mat Watson described Mini ride as firm or even harsh.

But the handing is the rewarding part. Need to try it out yourself whether you could live with the trades off.

The alternative is the countryman but that’s sort of not a mini but a maxi
