BM does not want that

. I think more like Toyota won't allow that... Since Toyota build altis and vios in their Thailand plant, i'm sure they would want it to supply to this region instead of jdm model..

i doubt its Toyota won't allow that... Its basically AD who would perfer to source a cheap car (Thai made) to sell at high price (market price for B&B cars) to maximise the profits.. Imagine if its cost is more expensive (Jap made) and still have to sell at market price for B&B, the profit margin would thus be much cheaper.. The very reasons why most manufacturer shift their production to Thailand, China so as to max out the profit margins..

There might be some conspiracy as to why Thai made Jap Badge cars still have such high OMV as Thai baht is not really that high.

i read the ads...very stupid lor.

u want to justify ur ugly looking no frill car but u didnt justify it with a lower price tag....if i can pay similar price for more useless gadgets ...why not? dont force it in ur customers face that this car is for u.

That silly Almera advert is on the front page of TODAY today papers.

I hope many buyers are convinced to buy a Almera.

Good luck.

How come you said the Almera ad is silly? [:/]

I feel it's silly.

However many others may like it. Perhaps you feel differently. So it's ok. Just my personal opinion.

I find the car design is "silly". :D

Almera is one segment lower yet more expensive than Forte and Cruze. Yet you have to make do with the 4spd AT. Can't justify the pricing at all. [laugh]

Where's the question of justifying price? I can't get past its fugly looks. KIA spanks this cars fat rear end silly with their designs. Only Mazda designers among the Japs are in touch with current times.
