Portable aircon

I've been through this. Bought a portable, but electricity consumption very high. Bought a second hand casement unit, but somehow it died.

I was then looking for a window unit, I think that's the best choice, but need to install, not easy.

Unless you really really have no choice then use this. Else it’s better to have the regular Aircon. These are noisy and inefficient. Not cheap also

I have the one on the left for 2 of my bedroom. They are more than 10 years old and still working!!! It is used when our split unit is not working. Yes, I have two types of aircon in my bedroom, very kiasu as I cannot sleep in my bedroom without aircon due to the heat from the walls of the room. Its an old building with old building material that absorbs heat from the day.
