Hi,

My car is coming to 3 years, recently received a notice from LTA asking for car inspection before renewing my insurance. The problem is, my windscreen has a 1 ft long crack. I am wonder whether LTA will still let me pass for insurance renewal.

the reason is i want to change it under my new insurance, i am thinking to opt for agent workshop isntead of insurance company authorised workshop.

Hope any brpo can share your experience. Thanks.

What difference does it make? Agent workshop or authorised workshop? It's just the windscreen.

Vehicle inspection is a procedure mandated by national or subnational governments in many countries, in which a vehicle is inspected to ensure that it conforms to regulations governing safety, emissions, or both. Inspection can be required at various times, e.g., periodically or on transfer of title to a vehicle.
