Have went to sim Lim Tower, gotten below quotation for:

 

Pioneer 4350 @ $510 to $530

Jvc Avx846 @ $530

Soundstream component speaker @ $120

 

They can install for me too if I want to.

Only cash

 

If I look at the sale posted in mycarforum, seller quoted $600, believed inclusive of installation.

It should be export set ...meaning no warranty...I will think it is a good buy and just pray hard nothing goes bad within first year....

Btw TS, your soundstream com set quote from which shop? Also looking for one.

Very likely settle for pioneer basic com. Got quote 120 too.

In my opinion, buying ICE equipment from SLT & Mustafa are cheaper. Even without warranty, can just throw and get another set easily. Cheers

For me personally, i not so concern about the warranty, but more of if the products are real or fake ..... so anyone can recommend some more reputable shops at SLT?

i bought my HU (JVC) from this shop at SLT - new century. It's still running after 3 years +. I think they will

give 1 days warranty so must install on same day.

I had been buying from New Century at Sim Lim Tower second floor (10 jalan besar #02-46 sim lim tower tel : 62935853) for the past 10 years. not pushy, experience and informative about their products (huge range of ICE). they even teach you to install if you are brave enough to do it. look for the lady boss. very friendly.

 

try not to buy from mustafa as no testing. for HU New Century cost maybe about $$10-20 more for single din and they test for you.
