Ya, I enjoy good sound but am not considered an audiophile. Chose a 3-way setup made up of:

Focal Utopia Be 165W-RC Components

Focal Utopia Be 3W2 Midrange

Focal Expert P25F 10" Woofer

Custom A Pillar and Woofer Box

Genesis Dual Mono -> midbass

Genesis Compact 4-> tweeters and midrange

Genesis Profile 2 Ultra -> bridged for woofer

Helix DSP Pro Mk2 Processor

Canare GS-6 RCA with Neutrik Profi Plugs

Tchernov Speaker Cables

Will be installing my 10.25" Android screen on Wednesday. Current screen is a 7".

Nice setup.

Just gotta take care of the A pillar airbag since u customized pillar.

I squeezed mine into the stock location.

Have. This is the stock unit (top) and Android unit (bottom)

When I have more time I'll start a dedicated thread to write on this.

If only they build a RCA for the Android, would be lagi best.

Mine had mark levinson, but ended up still go aftermarket.

Neutral Newbie

Hi, just would like to find out

I bought a new is300.

Is it correct that the orginal floor-mat comes in grey colour and not black ?

I opted for the black Color leather seat. It’s looks very cool and I love it .. except the floor-mat is grey..

Yes grey.

You can elect to sell it and put black 3M car mat instead

Dunno and I don't see the need for electric tailgate in a sedan.

It's more useful in SUVs where shorter folks may have difficulty pulling the hatch down

I feel, when I press the button to open the car booth (back of car) ,

it’s a bit retarded , the boot will open a small opening and does not lift up.

This should be considered normal for non-motorise boot right ?

Imagine you press a button to open the boot (not booth) and the boot lid springs up, then anyone standing at the back awaiting the boot lid to open will get whacked on his chin, falls backwards, hit his head against the ground, and become retarded.  [laugh]

Did an ECU Tune at BMS last week. Here's the Dyno chart:

post-1798-0-27148900-1559538083_thumb.jpeg

Injen Open Pod Intake, TRD Axleback Exhaust, Esso Ron98, 265/35/R18 rear tyres as Baseline.

Figures rounded up/down to nearest 1th.

Manufacturer Spec

241bhp

350nm

Assuming 20% drivetrain efficiency loss to the rear wheels, it's

192 whp

280nm

Baseline

183 whp

284nm torque

Baseline with Tom's Power Box

180 whp

289nm torque

Tuned

214 whp

329nm torque

Surprisingly,

1) With open pod and straight through exhaust, figures were lower than manufacturer spec.

2) Tom's Power box resulted in lower peak horsepower but had better torque in the low end which was felt in my daily drives.

3) Not much horsepower gains for a "Stage 1" type of tune compares to those VAG cars, but torque is fairly noticeable although I had hoped for a better figure. Then again, a friend who had his car tuned and dynoed at another workshop went to do a baseline at BMS and result was 70horsepower less.
