It's more likely the rumbling of the boxer engine than the cvt.

This is a car that suppose to use 2.0L engine with it body weight, only Singapore here using 1.6L due to the Car B COE.

It will work since it is mechanical push down and up button type for new XV.

So those new buyer, you may consider not to install this auto fold when engine off, save that 150$.

Just collect the car first, if really need, install it later during servicing routine.

Autofold stuff will spoil de la after sometime, think twice if you really need it or not...

The autofold is not from Subaru. Local third party.

Supplier is down the road in TPY industrial estate.

First hundred not zhun one. After hundred plus, reading more stable.

Expect 9km to 12km per liter.

Check if engine/CVT shudder when moving around 30km/hr. Some have it some dont.

Got reverse camera? Think the camera reverse time out don't work.

On paper, looks like the old XV got better FC than the new XV.

I am an owner of 3 years plus - mileage is about 100K.

Getting 11 to 11.5km/litre in 70% city driving.

Actually the CVT is better in hill climb than other cars with standard auto gear.

Main problem for us new to CVT is overstepping the accelerator.

The CVT don't like step too much when it is not ready - I think it goes into high gear too fast and you then feel like the car no power.

But have discovered that you can down shift easily by letting go accelerator and re-press again.

Then issue solved.

Of course, don't overpress in first place and just press sufficiently and press steadily more is best method.

You will get the hang of it after a while.

Yes driving 2015 XV.

Subaru cvt quite ok once learn how to drive cvt.

Some learn faster than others.

My wife has no rubber band effect at all.

For me took some time to learn how to drive cvt properly.

But worth effort.

Subaru overall package make driving enjoyable.

Someone asked fc.

For 2015 xv with 30% city driving, not so good. about 10km/l.

Xv does not do well in fc for city driving. For highway quite good.

Newer model may be better?
