SINGAPORE: A gunshot was heard Thursday evening in shopping mall VivoCity.

 

When police arrived at the scene, they found a dead man in a toilet cubicle on the first floor.

 

Police said they got the call around 6pm.

 

Channel NewsAsia understands the man could be an auxiliary police officer, as he was in uniform.

 

It is also understood the toilet cubicle was locked from the inside.

 

Forensic police are still at the scene.

Must be the aux police guy is working in one of the banks or jewellry shops in vivo city. 6 pm is just after his work ended. So he go toilet and pull the trigger, for God-knows reasons.

I thought the policies usually have clauses that excludes suicide cases one? Else, u will see more ppl jumping onto tracks and into reservoirs.

 

Then again, I'm not an agent so I could be mistaken.

This is what my agent told me. To prevent those who have the intension to commit suicide and claim against the policy, it must be at least a yr old as most suiciders are desperate and dont have long enough time to solve their problems unless that chap plan so far in advance to kill himself.

The deceased is a 25 year old auxiliary Certis Cisco police officer from Malaysia.

Then most probably related to Genting Highland Casino ?

Likely, this is a piece of good excuse for our MIW that their cabinet still implementing sound GDP policies !
