For $150k, you can either get 134hp A180 or 250hp i30N.

I think i30N has adaptive dampers.

PI A180 $140-ish k.

Thats why i picked a 245hp skoda.

Different buyer profile lah. Average A180 buyers are probably first timer buying badge after owning sushi or kimchi B&B cars in the past. I30N buyers are enthusiasts that hv probably owned badges b4 and now looking for best bang for buck

They are likely looking for a manual performance car. Not many left, Focus RS is gone liao and there's no manual Golf available.

They are a couple of new manual performance cars around.

Turbo: Civic Type R, WRX, WRX STI, I30N, focus RS, Mustang(PI), Swift Sport(PI). Most Lotus cars.

NA: BRZ, MX5.

Still hv manual cars but lack of passion to drive la.

Double tap paddle shift for 5-3

can....but slower gear change and jerkier due to the nature of the dual clutch

DSG is super noisy with the gears cling clang clunk while on the road.  DCT is super quiet.  Although both change gears seamlessly, DCT can't be heard while DSG has lots of metal grinding sound.

Stuck in carpark jam at Taka slope (up to level 6) in manual seems fun.  [:p]
