How to avoid?

Crack your brain for numbers to buy 4D, play mahjong.

Basically keep the mind active.

@Jamesc You won’t get it la with your MIL hounding you. 🤣

Must learn from my MIL.

She has selective dementia.

That's the best kind really.

Conveniently forget what she don't want to remember.

Even when she is a ghost.

That's my biggest fear.

Best to keep her alive as long as possible.

I am even thinking of keeping her in deep freeze in a cryo freezer.

Learn more than 1 language...and use it often.. In another words be effectively Bilingual, at least.

Bilingual brains are more resilient to dementia cause by Alzheimer’s disease

On average, the bilinguals in the study were five years older than the monolinguals, despite being at the same stage of Alzheimer’s disease. ....Compared to monolinguals, bilinguals showed increased functional connections between areas of the brain involved in executive control and the extent to which they use their second language was significantly correlated to activity in key neural networks.

Medically we cannot "avoid" dementia...only to delay it from getting too severe as one ages....However, one thing we can AVOID is spending long screen time watching TV/hp/ipad etc....with exception of visiting MCF 😜.

Need the pill like in the movie Limitless. 😁
