180

and RE002 is just a normal tyre, the S001 is way more superior.

I would not consider any tyre in the Potenza range to be a comfort base tyre.

Try the sumitomo htr a/s p01? It's a high performance tyre that has received good reviews. You could Google for more information.

Has anyone here heard or considered the Yokohama Advan DB?

Read online that it's suppose to he a performance tyre with good comfort levels. Made enquires at one "famous" shop and they quotes $185 for 216/60/16.

If cannot decide...then buy in pairs first.

Try the new tyres in front first.....if like....then change the rear ones one week later.

If don't like, then change the rear ones to another model. And swop the front to rear.

Best for those fussy tyres choosers.

I think the Re11 probably won't last 40k. Maybe 1/2 of this milage, maybe even less, I reckon.

No problems for 40k. I remember I did mentioned this before when you asked about my high mileage.

Just like TS, my RE001 worn out early last year. It only lasted for a year.

When I was shopping for tyres, I wanted a tyre that performs better than RE001 but yet have a higher wear rate.

Initially, I considered RE002 but it was made in thailand and costs $265 per piece for my profile.

Next, I considered Yoko AD08 but the wear rate is ridiculously low.

After much consideration, I changed to S001, which was $285 per piece and made in Japan.

Quality is much superior to RE001. It's a different class altogether. I wouldn't say it's quiet but its side walls are really really

hard and has excellent wet and dry grip. It's been a year now and it's wearing out very well. I think it can last me another 1 year.

But of cos, it's not within TS's budget.

My tyre profile is 215/45/R17
