Since it's on air filter. Let me share what I am doing with my air filter.

Firstly, I had been giving my air filter additional layer of 3M n95 filter.

Some months ago, because the 3M filter had collected quite some dirt, so I took it off, with the stock filter still spanking new, I didn't replace it with another layer of 3M.

In the picture, it shows the condition of the stock filter, after 7,000km of usage.

New one I purchased, I had layered it with 3M.

Difference?

Air flow less by around 10-20%. Expected.

Fresh air! You don't smell fumes or funny things from the aircond.

Wait few months later.. 😛

So far from experience, it won' t be dark but grey,

It will trap enough dust particles at around 10,000km to choke the air flow down to 60%.

Expect to replace it every 8000km.

Your stock filter will still look like new as the 3M took everything.

BTW u got use this on home Aircon?

Does it actually make the Aircon cooling coil cleaner and easier to maintain on terms of servicing?

It seems like one could modify the original air con filter holder, with the original paper filter removed and stick the 3M N95 filter since the 3M ones perform better over the original and could retain or improve the air flow.

Oh yes!

I didn't follow instruction by covering 2/3 of the surface, instead, I covered 100% of the surface.

Turns out the cooling fin is spanking clean after few years of usage. Dust free.

Just need to change the filter.

I wouldn't do that, unless you are pretty sure you are able to secure the filter layer nicely without it getting sucked into the system.

u buy from HK? how much?

Taobao got similar product but diff packaging

HKD250 for the purple box.

HKD190 for the red box.

I find the effectiveness of both are good and can't really tell the difference in use.

If I see your pole light correct which is at bottom, you should be able to turn it then pull out.

Neutral Newbie

Hi guys, new to the forum and a car noob. In July 19 bought my first car, a COE Avante 2009, and the other day the brakes became intermittently unresponsive with brakes sinking down to the floor and spongy and had a hell of a time stopping the car. Brought it to Harmony Motors Toh Guan and I was told either Brake pump or ABS pump spoilt. They recommended replacing brake pump first and bled my brakes. Asked me to monitor a week or two if the issue relapse. Now the brakes felt firm and seemed fine but I'm still feeling insecure and unsafe with my ride. Anyone encountered this issue before? Any advice from experiences? Pls give me some guidance guys...

On a side note, really lucky didnt get injured and managed to stop and activate towing...
