SimonTan 2nd Gear February 21, 2012 Share February 21, 2012 I have a few Seiko5. Good and reliable fully automatic watch. One was bought 20years back at less than $100. Two others bought recently. Nowadays, it cost about $200++. Many design from Mustafa to chose. Gaudy gold colour ones are very nice. It will move a man heart easily, he will be happy to receive a reliable japanese Seiko. I saw one which is kinetic plus sapphire glass Yes, you shd buy Seiko, Citizen or the like (eg Alba). Look for auto and saphire (scratch proof). Value for money. Many to choose from, for $500 budget. I have a regular watch shop in Albert (or Bencoolen)? Not sure, only know by location - next to Quan Yin Temple. Not nice to publish name of shop here. The owner once told me: Either go for under $1000 watch, or $5k and above. those in-between $1000-$4999 like a certain Txx HXXXX is rip-off. And I agree.
