Karoon Turbocharged March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 Dear forummers, appreciate if anyone can advise on above. i have only one phone which i use for work stuff, while my other home biz needs to have a separate line. rather than carry around two phones, i'd rather just slot in the pre-paid sim card for a while, divert all calls to my work phone and take it back out. will that work, and will the home biz callers be able to see the number its diverted to? Thanks ↡ Advertisement
Mcf777 Turbocharged March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 (edited) they wont be able to see the new number. but on their phone, they can see that you had diverted your line (Line A) to another line (Line B). The phone screen will display a 'DIVERT" sign. Take note : When you divert your line (Line A) to another line (Line B), you still need to pay for the phone charges for Line A. For Line B, it will be free if you have incoming call free service. Edited March 5, 2012 by Mcf777

Ginkgobaby Neutral Newbie March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 Not true. Even if both lines are incoming free, you would need to pay for both lines during call divert. ↡ Advertisement
