Jamesc Hypersonic March 8, 2012 Share March 8, 2012 (edited) Its only a matter of time before they start taxing the exhaust gas of humans. Then we can get revenue from everybody and not just car owners. Edited March 8, 2012 by Jamesc

Cmon la, talk is cheap. I stayed in JB for 10 years already and dont even bothered to buy an STI or S5 to speed along the highway. The moment u drive out of their safe haven, you get car-jacked and stripped naked in the NS highway. I rather speed in my BMX along Bukit Timah Road!

SimonTan 2nd Gear March 8, 2012 Share March 8, 2012 Not many cars less than 180g CO2 emission. Seems like not beneficial for the normal cars. Only hybrids cars has more advantages. But then their higher OMV will negate the overall selling price(minus rebate).

TVT Supercharged March 8, 2012 Share March 8, 2012 In general, it seems, bigger petrol-driven cars have higher carbon emission. Only a few cars have less then 160g/CO2 and these are mainly smaller cars. If buy big car, you pay more for COE and got to pay CEV surcharge...wah pian er! Raymondism Twincharged March 8, 2012 Share March 8, 2012 They can control $ingapore car population to go for 'Green', but cannot stop those Malaysia's non-green car from coming to our country. So, what's the point to introduce this. This is another source of income for LTA! the money dun go to LTA... it goes to MOF
