Opinions on Cefiro 2.0 anyone?

Dear all bros,

 

After looking around for a decent executive looking sedan, i am kinda decided on cefiro 2.0 , year 2007-2008,reason being it is decently priced in resale market? and nice interior.

I just wanna get some responses from those who own,driven, or hear from friends about this car based on these:

 

Maintenance

FC

Ride

 

I know that interior is pretty nice though.

Hi dad used to own a 07 cefiro 2.0. When driving alone, it's good. But when there are 4 passengers, each weighing about 60kg, you will realise the car have problem in the power side. When slowing down there tend to be a slight jerk. Other wise it is a good car.

 

FC : 1 litre about 8-9

 

Maintainence : cheap and easy as abc

 

In my humble opinion get the 2.5 version of it.

If you have decided for 2L for some reason please go ahead. But I would highly recommend 2.3L, it is much better and for 2007 models, the difference would not be much (road tax is another issue).

 

Maintenance: Very cheap and easy. It uses time chain.

FC: around 8.5 depends on driving consitions

Ride: Very good. It is quite comfort and you would feel the luxury for the price you pay.

Good interior. Quiet ride. Easy to maintain.

I driving a 06 b4 facelift one. Changed my left Lower arm recently. Now ride much better.

And also changed the engine mountings.

 

Fc ard 7-9

 

Price is lower than camry. But I would prefer this to camry.

Also cefiro has a good legroom, beige interior which i find rather classy. Seats super comfy.

Drive north south highway good to overtake too

Thanks for these opinions. So far not.much issues stated so I guessed it should be pretty reliable for 2nd hand. the engine while idling should be decently quiet?

Should be the same as Camry,9-10Km/L.

if you are concerned about fuel, then get the camry. else, get the 2.5 cefiro because its a V6. much smoother than an inline 4.

Another thing is the interior wood is nice too. Less fake than camry.

sry to hi-jack. i'm currently driving a Sylphy 1.5 2007 model. when idling notice the car would vibrate abit. wonder if it is the engine mounting problem. if so, how much to change engine mount?

Hi there, cefiro is much a decent car to drive.

Lots of legroom and comfortable.

Maintenance is reasonable cheap.

My FC 8.5 to 9.5.

have a 2009 1.5ltr sylphy at home.. no vibrations or what.. mileage at 42K..
