Dsn looks kinda kereta cina, even the new sylphy looks such. Don't like pointed grilles.

Also can't decide whether to be sedan or hatch the way the roof lines flow to rear.

Malaysia almeria quite popular now. Low cost, good fc n it's a nissan

price difference btw almera and 2013 sylphy was $9500.

come to think of it, tc should have priced the almera very low so as to populate the roads with a presence. more people would then take the bite to get an almera.

so far i have only seen 2 almera on the road.

Sat in a showroom Almera before, within 3 mins I dump the car and look at other model. Outlook is ugly, interior is of lousy quality. $100K for a car like this? Ouch!

Have you considered the Swift? Japan made, not Thai made. Prices quoted from sgcarmart between the Swift and Almera are comparable. Unless your old man needs a huge boot, Swift is worth considering.

Almeria is a joke, I test drove before when it first arrived, before new sylphy.. , the brake panel sounds like dropping off any moment when I lift my leg with a loud 'clong clong' sound.. Everything on the car looks cheap plastic.. Even the gear know and steering wheel has sharp corner flashes which cut hands.....I will even buy a proton then this almera...

Go test drive before, kinda disappointed.

Can say match-able with a china car ?

Look good in dash design, but the button 'feel' just not there..

Many sedan/saloon cars got rear headroom for rather short torso passengers only. Almera may have a durable manual gearbox, but engine a little weak for its engine size. Overall I believe a basic follower of Sunny it replaces.

Since it uses a Latio engine, I would say it is the replacement for Latio

If this is the case, as one whose wife is driving latio since day 1 for the past 9 years, I would say give it a miss.

The repair bills for that bluddy latio were….haiz, mai kong, mai kong liao [bigcry]
