putting the factor of price aside..my favorite authentic teochew porridge would be at Kheng Nam Lee @ 717 Havelock Road

some political party sells Teochew Porridge 24/7 [:p]

certified by residents to be hokkien muay..not teochew porridge

its a restaurant selling teochew cusine..comes with PRCs with mood swings manning the place..i dun considered it the same as those teochew muay stalls..it does sell kway chup, duck meat and fish porridge though but its nothing to shout about in the taste department

It's near to St Luke Hospital. Operate 24/7 but not too ex, IMHO. Fish Porridge, $5 per bowl with decent slices of fish.

Brought my family over last month and for 4 pax, it costs approx. $80 with a small steam promfret.

But dont go for their Kuay chap, it dont taste good at all. Braised duck is their specialty.
