You will have to ask yourself if you will be keeping it for long. If long, think of spare parts.

If short term and just starting out, go for replica.

One disadvantage of CF frame is that if you use those clamp devices for water bottle/hp/bag pack/torchlight/etc... you tighten too much, it will crack your CF frame.

Why this CF frame still so heavy? 9.9kg. Crius Master which is an aluminium frame, weigh less than that!!!

U may want to buy direct from taobao. Savings are worth the effort.

This evening overtook many on foldies along Changi Coastal Road, with some on group ride. Really getting more popular.

Once people start to travel overseas for holidays again, these will be going for a song.

1 question probably asked previously. Do u guys keep your foldie folded or unfolded when in storage?

In car boot - folded

On car roof - unfolded

At home - unfolded

Really!? I'm so tempted to change my foldies but they are still serving me fine. I even took wife's to coney Island on rough track and it rode pretty decent.

Mine is with slick road tyres...great for PCN and breakfast ride 😁

Need to be patient... need to wait at least 2 years before can travel again. By then, not sure what's next. LOL

Folded for me too.

My concern is, are the foldie designed to be long term folded or only interim just for transporting it.
