Went in yesterday via Tuas and out via Causeway (I don't have VEP). Malaysian customs no jam at all, but Sg customs jam in and out (more than 1 hr coming out despite most counters open). I noticed their computer system was very very slow, the officer was using eye power to make it go faster.  On average I think 1 min per passport.  Pity the officers working.

Maybe garmen doesn't want us to contribute to Malaysian economy....

My came back on Saturday midnight--actualky Sunday morning 1am too. first time ever to use causeway at this time. Topup at the Shell station, tons and tons of SG cars flooding the car washing.grooming station, basically everywhere I see are SG cars. Didn't know SG car owner have this "culture". I mountain turtle. 😓

Needless to say, causeway jam from MY custom.

Thought it would take hours to clear, but clear SG custom at ~3am. Not to bad cause I took the leftmost, the slowest lane, not gonna fight to squeeze on the right.

Base on own experience, I would say SG custom may have long queue but the officer are working hard. If the opposite jam from SG custom, at least 2 hours, likely 3 hours to clear.

And this one too.  50 more for motorcycles.

Could all these and the deferment of VEP have anything to do with the Tanjung Piai by-election in Nov?   Many Msians in this area working in SG.

Yes but why the jam is always on $G side?? (even at 1am) Still jam despite running at full capacity!!! Something is serious not right!

JB side mostly clear (Not all counters open most of the time).

Same vol of traffic but bottleneck at one end.... Mmmmm🙄

The jam now is at woodlands, departure only backflow from JB.

So who is causing the jam?

Waze and Googlemap say it all.

The heavy traffic is causing the jam now. But if u see the traffic cameras last night, the jam is only at $G side evem at 1am in the morning.
