It's true, go 1 degree 15 and ask.....can get a good one for 155k and bring chicks out to sea

So can you stay in that 155K boat like a HDB flat?

In some port cities like Santa Cruz,CA...

People stay/reside in their boats.

got 4 beds and a toilet, don't think it's conducive to stay there, maybe need a 350K one for decent living, I read someone got an expat doing it, cheaper than renting sentosa cove

a reasonable comfortable boat (meaning can stay in the boat like a yacht type for continuous long long periods one) will cost at least $200k... not to mention berthing space, maintenance (including cleaning spaces as well as mechanical ones, more regular and expensive), fuel more expensive cos more thirsty mah, marinas are mostly less accessible, thunderstorms then boat roll like fxxk (unlike flats wor), if no pleasure craft or some other boat license cannot drive yourself (no privacy when go sailing, cos need to hire a boat driver)...etc..

those seaboats (dinghy type) and half cabin cruisers are not really suitable for long long continuous stay onboard one..

if one want to compare, it should compare boat to house, but then also no comparison, cos house will appreciate (mostly), but boats, like cars, will depreciate...

and i heard docking and maintainance abt 2k a mth only

Go other places, cheaper by hundreds.

Or, go berth at sentose cove illegally...

Just put on double hazards...

No mention besides the purchase price for motorised/marinised boats, mooring charges, maintenance, fuel... cost more than average cars.
