Antlau 1st Gear April 15, 2012 Share April 15, 2012 a reasonable comfortable boat (meaning can stay in the boat like a yacht type for continuous long long periods one) will cost at least $200k... not to mention berthing space, maintenance (including cleaning spaces as well as mechanical ones, more regular and expensive), fuel more expensive cos more thirsty mah, marinas are mostly less accessible, thunderstorms then boat roll like fxxk (unlike flats wor), if no pleasure craft or some other boat license cannot drive yourself (no privacy when go sailing, cos need to hire a boat driver)...etc.. those seaboats (dinghy type) and half cabin cruisers are not really suitable for long long continuous stay onboard one.. if one want to compare, it should compare boat to house, but then also no comparison, cos house will appreciate (mostly), but boats, like cars, will depreciate...
