3k is 50% of the normal taxi drivers.

now top 20% of the driver is earning $5k-7k - he must be one of them.

the rest 30% is old uncle earning about $1.5-2k. relax relax driving and working hours - plus hog the road most of the times and drive in between of 2 lanes.

base on the pic, the taxi never even have the intention to brake or siam/change lane. he just jackpot and hit the poor guy over with his whole car.

This news makes most drivers think twice before stop to help accident victims on the expressway....

I Thot most taxi drivers wud slow down to every accident they see cos wanna copy lucky numbers...no?

We used to have nurses / teachers etc marching in NDP... why not have a contigents of say 30 cabs do drive-pass zigzagging, lane-cutting, and horning? let the spectators and president celebrate together with the cabbies... the most visible road users everyday!!! [thumbsup]

Neutral Newbie

Nevermind la. Even if the cabby were to cause death to anyone during an accident, he/she (taxi driver) will only be fine and suspend of driving for few months only. I guess these cab drivers take things for granted.

You (taxi drivers) would say you have long day of driving and alertness drops, if thats the case, you only got yourselves to be blame or maybe you can blame the cab itself cos it isnt as alert as you want it to be. [jawdrop][hur]

May the injured victim speedy recovery.

Sigh...And LTA wants to raise the driving age of cabbies to 75. Younger ones already got problem keeping focused on the roads.

No mention of taxi driver's age. I believe that taxi driver did not have adequate good sleep, just nodded off.

Cabby bashing again?

Y not bash against the taxi companies itself?

Rent so expensive, no health care, no off day, no CPF.

This deserves a separate thread [thumbsup] ... need more space to bashing them
