BM has 30 manual cars in d initial batch.

When bookings open?

In SG, I think buying Toyota is better than Subaru.

Not thinking of servicing only ... for that matter, I have heard horror stories from WRX owners re servicing at MI workshop.

Resale of Toyota used cars are more highly revered here, than used Subarus.

Many Toyota COE (>10 yr old) cars still sell very well here.

Cannot say the same for used Subarus though.

So is the F86 driver the better driver, or is the F86 a better car than the BRZ?

I feel the video is inconclusive as to whether the MX5 is the worst car amongst the three...and I'm not saying this because I own an MX-5! [laugh]

First impressions somehow convince me that it was down to driving skills.

Politics la.

If they let an older model win over two spanking new models of similar FR setup and from 2 biggest car brands somemore, won't it say a lot about Japanese engineering?

Supersonic

Watching these 2 new hyped-up models wheezing asthmatically and struggling to outpace an old MX-5 which is down in P/W confirms my suspicions about how underwhelming these cars really are.

A track day car has to be *fast* in addition to being nimble in handling.

Ehh it looked like just a fun run for them. After he got to the front, Tsuchiya looked like he was just chilling and trying stuff out with the 86. The BR-Z, well... he missed a shift, among other really silly things like taking the absolute worst line around the MX-5 -.-;; Paying attention to the 86's speedo instead, I think it's decently fast around the corners already. These cars aren't built with power in mind after all, though I think most owners would have done something about that the moment they got their hands on the car.

On the other hand, I've lost a lot of sense of speed after changing my ride to the 200E and taking a liking to beige.
