Wah....just a magnetic lock on the glass door also called hi-tech?

Or really got those blast proof shutters that will lock down the whole NPP?

So this is to prevent outside gangsters from attacking the lone policeman working in the NPP?

WOW. Welfare for the single policman working alone in the NPP.

What if the other NPP post also one man show? How to get reinforcement?

A prototype of the new Enhanced Neighbourhood Police Post was also on display.

A push of one button will shut the main entrance door, creating a safe room for those in distress.

At the same time, an alarm will be set off to attract the attention and help of passers-by.

Police officers at a nearby police post will also be alerted and dispatched.

Four cameras will also be mounted on the roof of the car as part of an automated Number Plate Recognition System.

The fully automated system is able to help police officers screen license plates more efficiently.

This was reported by MCF bros in one of threads of this strange device mounted on one of the patrol cars.

So I guess they will be stopping vehicles regularly on the roads for past violations henceforth?

What if the intruder/s was/were trapped with the officer?

A little late for reinforcement to come by later right?

Hope they have established the correct protocol before launching this safe room...

[rolleyes] [rolleyes]
