Yuan 6th Gear May 10, 2012 Share May 10, 2012 PS3 is really very good, currently on it 17", no regrets getting it...how much more is it above your budget? I agree. On PS 3 now. 17" too.
Yuan 6th Gear May 10, 2012 Share May 10, 2012 ohh i get what you mean. i mean the performance, coz i driving a fully stock vios with just a k&n drop in filter. Michelin PS3 to me is for people driving cars like type R etc.. mine is just a humble family car if i get this tyre will just because i want a tyre that is good in wet capability and occationally spirited drivng which is not so spiritual afterall. Actually invest in good rubbers or tyres I mean. My personal opinion is that they won't be overkill. These wheels are your only points of contact on the roads. Safety for yourself, your passengers (including family members) and fellow road users.
Typhoonz 4th Gear May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 PS3 will tick both the quietness (due to it's softer sidewall) and good wet performance (best in class). Cornering ability is nothing to write home about, CSC2 is far superior in this department. It's the replacement for Pilot Preceda 2 with better wear characteristic. If price is an issue try hankook evo 12, wet and dry performance is more than acceptable. For noise its OK maybe some other brothers would chime in as this is not a particular characteristic that is a priority for me I would chose ER300 over CSC 2 for better wet braking characteristics Enjoy I'm on the V12 and it's noisy... Unless you have good sound insulation, you are better of with other tyres... To be fair to the V12, good grip for both wet and dry conditions... PS. Yes people will say "Got noise means got grip, no noise means lesser grip"...
Joerg Neutral Newbie May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 I mean Stamford (Bt Batok) quoted $140 each when I was there to top N2. Of course they have yet to include installation etc I went home, googled and found out CAD is offering a good price, so didn't want to think too much..... After all it's quality stuff at reasonably low price. If you check the Conti international site, the narrower range is Eco Contact.
