Civic2000 Supercharged May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 (edited) You can try visiting Philips Lighting Brand Store at 793 Bukit Timah Road. This place sells LED lighting for home use. I ever bought some Philips LED Ceiling lights from them. Expensive but comes with 1 year warranty.. Edited May 11, 2012 by Civic2000

Donut Supercharged May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 down lights also led... very bright... can ask tarzan lol Oh yeah. I just realized downlight is also LED. I'm using downlights too. TS, check out downlights. Last I did all these research was 4 years ago. Technology could have improved since. Maybe there are new better light bulbs that are more energy saving these days. Bystander50 5th Gear May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 Thinking of getting LED but any feedbacks from bros here who has them in the house? Been using it, and my comment is the brightnrss is not there. What I do is to mix with normal blubs to attain the brightness. LED lightings brightness is measured bu lum, the higher, the better. Average led blub is abt 600-700 lum. 999 3rd Gear May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 LED is in fact brighter but they then to be more focus in one spot. Normal florescent give better dispersion if light. It will depend on the design of the LED layout design. Warm white or daylight will also give a different. Lots if people think the yellow light is dimmer but in actual fact the reverse is true. Lots if people think the yellow light is dimmer but in actual fact the reverse is true. you are right and wrong, warm light, cool day light ... all these are color temperature, the higher the color temperature, the whiter it is ... if you talk abt brightness, you should look at the lumens, this is the measurement of brightness, the higer the lumens, the brighter the lighting
