Dangerous, yet so compelling, would love to have a chance at some of these roads,

 

Especially the Transfagarasan, known to be Europe's best mountain road, said to rival Stelvio pass,

Also known as 'Ceausescu's Folly' according to Jeremy Clarkson from BBC Top Gear.

Was featured in one episode where the 3 presenters drove thru Budapest

Then sped in the labyrinth below the massive marble palace of the late dictator

B4 heading NW to the Transfagarasan mountains.

Tarogo Gorge didn't seem dangerous to me.

Very picturesque though.

 

 

Dangerous becos drivers got distracted by the beautiful scenery,

Forgot that there're other road users as well, and the plunging drop down to the

riverbed below!

If you don't pay attention in Tarogo Gorge you'll fall down very easily!!!

I drove through about 2/3 of Dalton Highway few years ago, didn't know it's the 3rd most dangerous road, now I feel great !!!

Tarogo Gorge didn't seem dangerous to me.

Very picturesque though.

The only one I have been to in the list.

taroko nt really dangerous. i feel the more dangerous part is after taroko gorge where u go taichung and u need to pass by hehuashan part. just drove pass last week. no doubt scenery is really awesome!

The Friendship Highway at no. 4 looks really scary man. Esp with the fog.
