STOMPer wasabi was on her way home when one of the train doors remained stuck open even as the train moved off from Lakeside station.

Said the STOMPer:

"I was on my way home from Boon Lay MRT to Cityhall MRT at about 10pm last night.

"At Lakeside station, one of the doors started making noises during 'Doors Closing' and remained stuck open even while the train started moving.

"Thank goodness the train was relatively empty, if not it would have been dangerous for people standing near that door in a crowded train!

"The doors eventually closed at the next station."

"It's an isolated incident", they will say. Then, will start all statistics nonsense again citing doors open and close, open and close, all through the towns for so many times, only this time - an isolated incident!

There should be an warning alert sounding the MRT driver that door did not close... was the warning ignored? Sensor faulty?

On serious note, am surprise no one press the emergency button to trigger the station/driver.

Maybe like you mentioned everyone was enjoying the additional ventilation mah [laugh] [laugh]

Their train and systems have aged, thus so many problems, it is logical

If properly maintained, then it may not be the case.

Very lucky it was not peak hour period.

Else sure many people get thrown out and land on the road outside.

Very lucky again. The elevator breakdown also no injury.

Last week got a boomzs and some metal parts fly off a train, also no injure!

Reminds me of the TV news where all the diseased food and poisonous tainted food, and miraculously none of them were ever imported into Singapore!

Injuries and death only happened in other countries?

Some one is protecting Singapore in a magical way?

Let's see what will happen next.
