Yes, was thinking of adding onto my SATS holdings with the bursting of the HK-SG bubble but the counter barely moved.

I cant trade single stocks so i loaded up 80 lots of ES3...... sold 20 lots recently.

still holding 60 lots.  May sell another 10 lots depending on where this greed takes us.

then when the high value retrenchment comes in 2021, and the market becomes fearful, i will increase stakes to 100 lots.

thats the strategy for me which can change anytime..... must be nimble....yet firm enough and not led by the nose.

in the meantime collect my passive income every month....

The thing that stops stock markets going up is uncertainty.

All the uncertainty is now gone.

Vaccine is ready and its only a matter of time before people can travel again

so airline stocks will go up, cruise stocks will go up, hotels will go up.

Biden beat Trump so no more stupid trade wars and world trade will improve.

More world trade means shipping price will go up, oil price will go up and housing price will go up and COE will go up.

So buy buy buy bye bye.

Economy recovers, the ships will be the first to move for transportation of more goods.  I buy YZJ.

Went through 2 of the biggest crises, AFC GFC and still came out making money.

I wonder wtf these people are thinking by putting on a fake accent, some nice clothes and funky hairdo, they are now qualified to teach losers ( no doubt) for a fee?

oh come on! 🤦🏻‍♂

They even get Gurmit Singh onto their boat.

Stock markets will always go up unless one day

people don't want to buy a new handphone or Ipad or car or house

or toilet paper or go on holiday or eat out or watch a movie

or stop eating.

Stock markets will always go up because the value of money is decreasing everyday.

If you invested say 1.2 million 2 years ago and the value of your share is 1.7 million today then you made 500,000.

But if the price of gold was $1,200 and the price is say $1,800 today then you have lost $100,000 in buying power or the true value of money.

All countries want to devalue their currency

to get a competitive advantage

so their exports are cheaper and they can sell more.

Its like a race to zero.

With growing e-commerce, I would expect Singpost to thrive as it is a big brother in the logistics and delivery sector (or at least it is in a good position to change direction slightly to capture this growing sector).

Unfortunately, the share price doesn't reflect this way.

Does anyone believe that Singpost has a good future?

Their hardcopy and snail mail sections are dying.  They have the biggest fleet and manpower in Singapore.  I am wondering why they can't change direction slightly and  capture this booming market?   They are in a good position to kick ninjavan.
