Bros, I am consider to get the Blackvue DR650 2 CH.

Need some advice.

Read that there is overheating problem, is that due to the SD card?

Is it a must to have Cellink or Power Magic?

Presently, I am using Blackvue DR 380 without neither Cellink nor Power Magic

my cellink fitted end jan, died in june

sandisk sd card also die somewhere then, cannot format

bv650 still alive

that will give u a good estimate on which is most reliable among the 3 (cam/cellink/card)

my suggestion, fit thinkware f750 or iroad v9 with inbuilt parking mode

Anyone using BV 650 1Ch? Is the overheating issue still present? Looking for a camera replacement as mine stopped recording videos. Only 2 seconds black videos recorded.

Using 650 dual channel with power magic.

the power magic setting is cut off at 12V or 12 hours.

but i found that the cam usually runs less than 10 hours during parking mode. is it normal ?

Besides park recording, the power magic also serves as a means to verify your battery life. This morning, I realized park recording did not work. Check the battery and it was less than 10V. And battery is only 11 months old. LOL.

How did your cellink b died? How was it resolved? Warranty claim?

Mine is not able to charge after just using it for a few months and I have no warranty fallback.

If no more warranty, can try bringing it to Kim Chew at Sim Lim Tower basement next to escalator to replace the battery. If you have a multimeter, can try check the voltage first.

Anyone knows how the Blackvue Over The Cloud works? Is this to enable remote monitoring of the vehicle? Just wondering how the cam is able to do that unless there is an embedded sim card required?

You'll have to buy a router and put a sim card with data and then connect the blackvue to it. Now you can view your videos from the cloud.

Thanks will make a trip to try salvage it. The 8 battery cells look good so no obvious sign of whether it is cell or circuit fault.

Here is a video on how to clean the lens on a DR400G-HDII.

We knew many drivers here had this camera for several years now since the launch of this model.

Perhaps you are having difficulty viewing the recorded videos because your video is now foggy and misty, with lots of blurry captured number plates.

This is a self help video on how to clean the lens.

This tip usually solve 90% of all blur lens issue on this model.
