Ahtong 1st Gear July 25, 2012 Share July 25, 2012 AN NUS law professor is under investigation by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) for allegedly being involved in a sex-for-grades deal with a female undergrad. The New Paper understands the professor who teaches at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law was arrested in April and is now out on bail. In order to ace her paper, the student implicated in the probe allegedly struck a deal with her professor to have sex with him. She is said to have had sex with him on multiple occasions. Anyway, it just goes to show how people in high places nowadays, supposedly educated, but totally lack of ethics. Even if it was out of "true love", the relation between the two, i.e. teacher-student, already comes loaded with conflict of interest and is absolutely unethical. To be honest I am quite sad when reading this type of news. Since the beginning of the year, there have been a whole series of "probes" Don't know if people are getting more "corrupted" or news get circulated more openly or there is a more proactive effort to clean house behind the scenes.
