I bought my 3800 6mths ago at offer price of $159.00.Have been using it 24hrs 24/7 until now,no overheating problem so far.As for fixing I do not stick the holder until I found the correct position by recording and checking the video until I am satisfied with it then stick it with the holder permenantly. wave.gif

Hi, I new here and looking to buy 3800. Could you highlight the name and location of the shop.

That is a good offer.. The shop I enquired selling for $250 with installation. But his installation is to the cigarette socket only, not the car battery.

So does your run on a back up battery to prevent the car battery from draining?

Hi Kurtselva, as I requested to Kengheng450 in this thread, I am new here and looking to buy 3800.However there no reply as of 1 Mar 2014 12:34pm.

Actually, a mid-end model like Marbella MX6 can do the job pretty well be it in day or at night.

I second this! Of course we cannot compare with better ones like Blackvue etc.

Recently considered many mid-range, high-range and eventually got this low-range:

T650 (+$10 to listed $60).

Review can be read from here:

(Same make just different model number)

Video review from here:

S$70 for a relatively good performance camera. Burned under our hot SG sun also dun feel pain... haha

Hi guys, Actually i do have a few camera models and i do supply to many of my suppliers and construction companies.

not advertising but just saying many cameras i see outside is from me and the price the jack up quite ridiculous. So if you people really need it badly i can recommend a more friendlier pricing to you.

This few camera models are quite reasonable and durable, i've been using it for myself for past 3 years.

Its connected to your car so once you on it will start up automatically without and battery, and it comes with 8gb memory card, The video will keep recording and will not overwrite your files, my files overwrite like after A YEAR.

Can pm me by email or text me if you guys really in need of cameras. Just trying to help people who needs pocket friendly cameras.

Guys I realized that a lot of better dash cam (usually >250sgd) does not have a build in screen.

Any recommendation for a reliable dash cam that has a screen ?

reason I am using stock HU for my Toyota and I don't want to buy a screen.
