As long as the policemen act within their procedures, should be okay. This is New York, and the policemen get away with far more violent reactions. Consider this guy got off easy already... He could've received a beating if there was no crowd gathered.

Weedy skinny guy still want to challenge a burly policeman, and some more the policeman had a backup nearby! [hur]

In Singapore using car to hurt is same as death threat, the police has the rights to use any force up to firearms to defend. Legally the officer is not at fault.

If you go to Beverly Hills, you can see many super cars towed for illegal parking. Yet to personally see one in Singapore though, or are they all law abiding ? I see many parked outside famous restaurant every weekend night ... at most get $70 summon ?

Fark.... Nobody even allowed to smoke on the public street in Beverly hills and Santa Monica. Really a 1st world town and they don't care who you are whether you are a superstar or homeless guy.

I got fined in BH for parking with ONE WHEEL slightly outside the parking lot box... That's how anal they are... But it's what makes for a first world society.

Singapore govt. ministries and stat boards have an inferiority complex as in they dare not take fair action against the wealthy and influential in singapore because the govt believes that singapore needs them more than they need singapore.

In the USA, no one individual is bigger than the govt of the US.

Not just in BH but enforced in most of North America mah. Some Americans think its not efficient, but it does serve a purpose. Many road junctions got no traffic light, all depends on the discipline of drivers to stop. In Singapore, it's just not observed or enforced. If no need to stop, then don't put a stop sign.

Yeah I know except that in many parts of the USA it is not observed if there is no traffic cop there. It is more observed in the wealthier parts of the USA than in the poorer states and towns, the inner cities and ghettos.

The wealthier people in the west tend to act more "civilized" and more respectful of regulations and individual rights (with the exception of those barbaric powerful men in wall street)

Seems like the opposite in Asia.
