it depends on whether you like Sense or Touchwiz.

personally i prefer Sense but design wise i think S3 is better.

i'm using One X btw.

The Note while nice, is too big for one handed operation.

agree, nexus indeed is value for $$. somehow just cant.......overlook the lure of newer phone [:(]

for nexus, the 3 buttons occupy screen estate, so the viewable screen is actually smaller.

for One X, the 3 buttons are touch sensitive ones that's outside of the screen. so you get the full 4.7" of screen estate.

My 2 cents. Hope it is helpful :D

This is dual core, so will be slower than the other phones that you have listed. Also its price seems to drop much faster than Samsung S2.

SS S3---------498

This will be the top choice for me since I am using S2 now. That aside, Samsung's top of the line models usually command good resale value. I also pick the S3 because of its sleek design.

SS note-------418

This is also dual core. Note 2 should be launched soon so you might want to consider that instead. To me, Note is neither here nor there in terms of size. I don't have big hands so Note is too big for me as a phone. But it is too small for a tablet.

HTC 1X-------468

HTC's resale price seem to be not as good as Samsungs. Also I prefer S3's design...but that is subjective. HTC's new range of phones don't come with removable batteries. Not sure if they feature a reset button cos I have the habit of removing the batt to reset the phone when it hangs.

SE ion---------318

Not familiar with this one

Thats what my wife said when asked what kind of man she wanted to marry!

I think S3 is the nicest phone here but also the worse for value for money.

The Nexus is the best value for money but the S3 is so much more attractive.
