Stupid ruling isn't it.

He was stripped because he chose not to contest the charges, not because he was proven guilty of taking drugs.

Stupid US laws.

No wonder US has so many weird lawsuits.

the most tested athlete of all-time, who has NEVER failed a single drug test, is guilty of doping?

the last of his TDF titles was in 2005. its already 2012, and they are still trying to nail him.

I really wonder what power the USADA has to be able to "strip" him of his titles.

The most important glossed-over fact: USADA is not a recognized body to strip anyone of any title. They were formed by the US Congress in 2000 and think they somehow have power over international cycling.

Typical cowboys.

"The International Cycling Federation, whom Armstrong has said should be the arbiter in his case, has opposed the American agency's actions by claiming it has jurisdiction. That position has been recently backed by USA Cycling, the official cycling organization recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee."

yeah, thats the truth.

Im not an armstrong fan. but it certainly looks like a witch-hunt.

Plus, he has done more for cancer than most of us here can dream of, so I say it doesnt even matter if he doped. How many world sport champions do anything good with their fame?

His story on his fight with cancer was one of my greatest inspiration to stay fit.

Someone just hide behind the skirts of USADA and just keep whacking LA. Wonder who is this Travis Tygart.

Still water runs deep...

What we're seeing is probably a sideshow. Sports is a LUCRATIVE business.
