I flew Scoot to BKK recently [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

Its basically the same as a full-fledged carrier minus the in-flight meals.

Spacious seats (I can even cross my legs and still not have my leg touch the seat infront of me!).

Seats are able to recline as per full-fledged carrier's economy class seats.

seats are wide, comparable to full-fledge carriers.

Seats made of fabric just like the full-fledge carriers.

Plane is big... stable [thumbsup]

That's becos Scoot is using the older 777s from SQ. My hunch is that they didn't change the pitch of the seats hence it's more spacious than the other budget airlines. I'm booked on Scoot for my holiday to taipei in Nov!!!! wahahaha

I took scoot SG-Sydney recently. Personally find the leg space ok. However the seats seem to be hard or something, made my butt feel uncomfortable after a short while.

Which seat you took? The normal, super or stretch? [:/]

Anyone taken Scoot lately? Thinking of flying to BKK.

Are there flight delay?

Just came back from Taipei on Scoot.

We departed the gate on time but there was a slight delay due to air congestion. Still managed to reach and come back from Taipei earlier than the indicated time.

Air crew was mostly young girls. Friendly but lack the experience in service.

I took the normal blue seats. Pitch was better when compared to other budget carriers. The seat could recline quite a fair bit too but the back rest was quite flat (no contours) which made it rather uncomfortable after a while. Suggest you bring a small inflatable pillow if you can't tahan.

At Changi, fill up your own water bottle from the water cooler at the gate just before the apron. If you run out of water, there is also a water cooler next to the toilet at the back of the plane. Otherwise, you would have to pay $4 for can drinks or a small bottle of Evian.

Got a screen, need to pay for movies. But infotainment's free.

The flight into Kansai sucked cos they cancelled my flight like 5 hours before i was due to fly, end up had to take a later flight in the normal small Jetstar plane that transit thru manila... horrible flight...

Have to agree with you on this.

Which airline got good timing you tell me, either you too early to check in or late to check in loosing a day.

that said, as if you're gonna stay in the room the whole day also? Early just leave bags at hotel and move off,

come back later to checkin lor. Late then well can also leave and go havoc till time to check in. [laugh]
