Interestingly, it was my wife who pointed it out to me that their uniforms were TIGHT!

I tot they look pretty ok in those uniforms...if loose not nice...some more meaty type...u see abit of double layer beneath...

I think flying by scoot is pretty ok....jus got to bear in mind...it is a budget airline...some ppl expect premium svc...to me...no expectation is the best...just enjoy the ride n the space provided.

Yes. When taking budget for short flight, I don't care abt the stewardess or service. I only care about flight delay.

Scoot got prob

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/passengers-on-diverted/1109606.html

SINGAPORE: Mr Campbell Wilson, the CEO of budget airline Scoot, said that current measures are sufficient to deal with unruly passengers and disputes.

He was commenting on flight TZ 001 from Sydney to Singapore that was diverted to Bali on Wednesday after a husband-and-wife spat that resulted in the woman having a fractured arm.

Separately, a passenger who was abusive to staff was also told to get off the plane in Bali.

12-year-old Beau and his mother, Mrs D, were passengers on board flight TZ 001 on May 14 and they had a front-seat view of the unfolding drama.

The Australian said they were sitting near the emergency exit door and about an-hour-and-a-half into the flight, a man came into the cabin "filled with rage". The man attempted to open the emergency exit door, then went on to the toilet door and started hitting it very hard.

Beau and his mother left their seats to alert the flight attendants and the man was restrained and brought to the back of the plane.

Mrs D said the crew's response was amazing, if not "immaculate".

"They made sure they were not inconveniencing or making anybody on the aircraft be in any more trouble. Scoot should actually be proud of the training they have been giving them, because they could not have done any better," she said.

Scoot CEO Mr Wilson said other passengers chipped in as well.

He said: "We had some passengers on board who were doctors, or paramedics. They were able to provide medical attention, and diagnose the passengers, and the captain made the decision to divert to Denpasar where medical attention was available, which was the right decision to make.

Clearly, it's unfortunate the passengers were inconvenienced a few hours, but everything was done with safety, and medical well-being of people in mind."

The man was later escorted out of the aircraft in Bali with a drip, along with his wife, whose arm was in a sling.

However, the drama did not end there. Beau said while waiting for their luggage to be removed, another man who was seemingly drunk, started yelling profanities at flight attendants.

He too was escorted off the plane as he was deemed a threat to other passengers on board.

anyone else has any inputs for scoot of late?

seriously thinking of booking flights to Taiwan but my SIL had a very bad experience with their service.

In a nut shell, her bookings was not in the system even with the e ticket issued. All personnel played tai chi and left her stranded for 7 hours and of course missing her flight.

Well it really depends on your destination. If you're going for SEA countries (e.g. Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia) it probably is still fairly cheaper to travel through the better established Low Cost airlines. Better established ones to me are AirAsia and Jetstar - which some may debate.

Anything further i'd suggest taking a full fledged airline.

(edited)

This year I have used Scoot to Bangkok twice and once each to Taipei and Perth.

Legroom is much better than Jetstar which I always use too. Budget airlines service quite

standard and I always fly with hand luggage only. Just last week changed name for friend

who last minute could not fly Taipei incurred a $210 charge!

took Scoot for recent trip to Taipei because of the overnight flights.

chose it because able to fit in full day programs less the hassle of waiting at the airports.

next time, I will probably choose scootbiz for more legroom and space.
