Was there last Dec 2016 and their airport cramp and not English friendly. Toilets to toilets distant were far apart and only 3 cubical each toilet..   :lll._.:

I was at the Delhi airport in 2008 when they were doing renovation. The close off half the airport

and the queue started from one floor down the steps to the floor below. It was terrible.

I was at the Mumbai airport in 2014 and it was really nice. The wall decoration was fantastic

they carve village scenery on the walls and it was a really nice airport.

In the span of a few years their airport was like from Paya Lebar to Changi.

If we don't keep improving we will be overtaken by all these 3rd world countries.

Its frightening how fast these countries are progressing.

nice airport is important but really not necessary to be rated number 1

more important is does the nice feeling stay after the visitor exits the airport and into the real world outside...

Changi still deserves the award imo... I've seen airports that are big, but really have nothing to do..

some other good airports imo..

Haneda(Tokyo), Incheon(Seoul), Hong Kong (HK)

Narita airport is quite a basic... Its big.. but doesn't have much

Some airport like the heathrow is big and its architecture not layout properly.. Going to the gate is like taking the escalator up down up down and the gate is really far even in the same terminal..

Do you mean mumbai?

I stayed at the Marriott court yard and my company was at the office tower next door.

I went to a shopping centre like any shopping centre in Singapore.

I went past the rich people areas and saw big houses and condos with Italian style.

It just like not being in India at all.

Same as my trip to Manila. Nice condos and hotels. Great restaurants and shopping

centres, lots of rich well dress people. Like not in Philippines at all.

I was told Dubai airport feels so much like changi because they hire the changi airport people. Changi for many many years really set the bar but these days the hardware and even software is easily replicable. Globalization.

I wasn't impressed by the Dubai airport except that it was big, singapore airport has a cleanliness and attention to detail which most larger airport lacks. Toilets are the most evident where it's clean and the overall thought was put in with regards to natural lighting etc
