Your story is confusing. Are you flying off immediately after your ICT is over (last day)? Have you notified the trip properly? Also keep in mind that every SAF100 that I remember records your time of service as being up to midnight of the last day or something. If this is the case for you, technically it means that you're flying off while you're on MC on the army's time. The SAF can own your ass if they feel like it. (If you're asking for a friend, feel free to substitute "you" and "your" for "your friend" and "your friend's" respectively). Other than that caution, no personal experience with this, sorry. Maybe someone else can chip in. Edited September 21, 2012 by Turboflat4

If you are planning to do this, be mentally prepared to spend at least 7 days in the Detention Barrack.

I suppose you are on reservist.........once you in-pro.............you belong to the unit and you are serving..........if your MC covers light duty........... still need to report back camp.........if you are MC to stay home............you are not suppose to be anywhere else.......... if you meant you are flying on the last day of in camp which ends at 5pm..............be sure that you have out-pro before you fly......... MC don't go by your working hours. It follows the date. So the MC covers for that whole day till 1159hrs. Can get charged for malingering. We used to go out at around 8pm on some days to visit NSFs on MC to check if they are really at home.

If you take mc outside you will still need to go back to your camp medical center to endorse the mc. If you do not do that they consider you awol.
