Tohto Hypersonic October 22, 2012 Share October 22, 2012 Insider Info: (Heh heh ) Kia Sorento will arrive in SG January 2013. 2.2 CRDi diesel confirm together with 2.4 petrol Diesel 149g/km CO2 (same as Lexus RX Hybrid) means CEVS A4 banding - $5,000 rebate Kia K3/Cerato will only launch mid 2013 in SG So how does the CEVS rebate work? The $5,000 is rebate from final selling price or from OMV? The Sportage diesel spec look very good. Damn the COE price, make up half of the car selling price. Benarsenal Turbocharged October 22, 2012 Share October 22, 2012 (edited) So how does the CEVS rebate work? The $5,000 is rebate from final selling price or from OMV? The rebate is off the ARF. (So that means when you scrap also get back lesser. Govt really know how to eat ) Current Green Vehicle Rebate (for hybrids/electric cars) is 40% off the ARF (IIRC). Next Jan onwards this will be no more. CEVS will be for all cars, according to CO2 exhaust emissions. Edited October 22, 2012 by Benarsenal
