According to this: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=164590

it's supposed to be 650 bidirectional for your movements.

I've just got a watch winder and am puzzling over the best settings for my Orients as well. Right now, it's at 1000 TPD clockwise because that's the recommended default in my winder user manual. But I prefer to have something from the watch manufacturer. But cannot find.

OK, this great database: http://orbita.com/2010_web/NEW/Database-R.htm

tells you most Rolex autos require 650 bidirectional.

But it doesn't help me. Under Orient, they put "TBD" (I guess that means "To Be Determined"). [:(]

But I do know that the Orient movt winds both ways, and most movts that are birectionally winding can make do with 650 TPD, so that's what I'm setting it at. Besides, it's safer to underwind than overwind (the latter causes stress on the movt).

Where can I find a reasonably priced watch winder?

A watch winder can be easily found n eBay at very cheap prices. Singapore winder prices very inflated, buy from Hong Kong cheaper.

Depends on what you want form it, just to keep your watches wound? Then get a simple one but remember to duct tape the watch holder in case of sharp edges which may stratch your watch.

Another point to note is where you put it, in bedroom you want to go for the silent type. I bought a few before, but realized I don't use them after awhile. Not difficult winding up the watch once in a while when you want to use it.

It is also more environmentally healthy, some people buy mechanical and automatic watches claiming no battery and environmentally healthy then place them in winders which uses batteries or power from the socket. [laugh]

Watch out for the Groupon offers. They have them quite frequently. I got two recently for $150 a piece inclusive of home delivery. Mine are the cabinet style ones with 2 winding rotary slots plus 2 display slots. Very nicely finished. Would've been a bit cheaper without the delivery.

I manually shake my automatics everyday to keep various watches wind up. Good exercise for my wrist.

Must oil the watch. Rolex that time quote me 500 just to lub the watch. More exp then any car oil given the amount of oil used

I am thinking of using Singer sewing machine oil to lube my Seiko. Wonder OK or not? [:/]
