Steptronic Supercharged November 4, 2012 Share November 4, 2012 I am using ITB100 and it is a very good cam. Blackvue had heating issues and I am not sure if the heating issue still persists in the latest model. Go through the following threads. Blackvue: http://www.mycarforum.com/index.php?showto...amp;hl=blackvue* ITB100: http://www.mycarforum.com/index.php?showto...3426&hl=ITB*

Steptronic Supercharged November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 can the itronic power saver use with blackvue? I guess you need to check the amp ratings of both PS and Blackvue and see if they are compatible. Technically your powersaver has to have more Amps rating than blackvue. Adrianli Hypersonic November 5, 2012 Share November 5, 2012 (edited) I guess you need to check the amp ratings of both PS and Blackvue and see if they are compatible. Technically your powersaver has to have more Amps rating than blackvue. Amp ratings should not be of any significant considerations at all. A car cam normally draws at most 3 to 4watts of power. What the Power Saver or Power Magic can provide is more than sufficient for any car cam usage. Check ur car cam manual and see how much power it is using. By theoretical calculation : P = I x V 4watts = I x 12V I = 4watts/12V I = 0.33amps I would say choose the device which u would prefer the cut-off voltage to be.
