Maybe when he tried selling to dealer, dealer only offer him so low that he decided to sell himself.

I tried selling my Mazda 2 to dealer few months bck, all quoted me ard $10k off what I saw in sgcarmart.

I started selling on my own just below what others are selling.

And gone quite soon after...

Thought direct owner selling usually lower from dealer. So if you are a buyer, if buy from direct owner by right should be cheaper.
